Trial lawyer Robert F. Shaffer has joined O’Melveny & Myers LLP as a partner in Washington, DC in its IP and technology practice group. The firm noted that Shaffer, who headed the biotechnology and pharmaceutical practice group at Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner LLP, will expand its East Coast capabilities in IP and technology. “His skills and experience in handling complex life sciences patent litigation make him an ideal addition to our award-winning intellectual property and technology team,” O’Melveny chair Bradley J.
