Law360: MVP: O’Melveny’s John J. Rapisardi

O’Melveny partner John Rapisardi has been named to Law360’s annual list of MVPs, which recognizes the lawyers who have “distinguished themselves from their peers by securing hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters and record-breaking deals.” Law360 honored Rapisardi for his work representing the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in the largest municipal restructuring in US history, a deal that involved a US$120 billion bankruptcy plan that was approved by US District Judge Laura Taylor Swain in January. “When you look at your most complex restructurings on record, they pale in comparison to the complexities that we had to face and successfully overcome,” Rapisardi said.
