Law360: Sandoz Drops Counterclaims After US$39M Patent Trial Loss

Sandoz Inc. has dropped its antitrust counterclaims against Allergan after a Colorado federal jury held that Sandoz owed Duke University and Allergan US$39 million for infringing their patent on Latisse, an eyelash growth drug. US District Judge Raymond P. Moore dismissed Sandoz’s counterclaims without prejudice. Duke University and Allergan Sales LLC are represented by Lisa B. Pensabene, Timothy S. Durst, Hassen A.
