O’Melveny & Myers LLP hired Rebecca Mermelstein, a former AUSA in the Southern District of New York, as a partner in New York in the firm’s white collar defense and corporate investigations practice. Mermelstein previously served as co-chief of the Southern District of New York’s General Crimes Unit and was on a task force combating securities and commodities fraud.
