Legaltech News: Diversity, Metrics Demands Are Pushing Firms to Embrace AI Hiring Tools

Legaltech News reported that this shift is being driven by law firms’ growing reliance on metric-based decision-making coupled with the renewed demand for diversity in law firms. Hiring tools leveraging AI are not yet common practice among firms, however.

The publication added that while O’Melveny announced its use of an AI-based tool to help eliminate bias in its recruitment and hiring process in 2018, only a small number of firms have followed.
