Broadcom’s proposed acquisition of VMware, a virtualization software maker, was cleared by the UK National Security and Investment Act. The deal has also been cleared in Germany, France, Austria, Denmark, Italy, and New Zealand. O’Melveny & Myers LLP serves as legal advisor to Broadcom.
