Mergermarket: Lantronix Eyes Uptick in Acquisition Discussions; Sees ‘actionable’ Tuck-Ins

Global provider of turnkey solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Remote Environment Management (REM) Lantronix, Inc. intends to continue growing its capabilities and competencies via M&A, according to CEO Paul Pickle. In April 2021, Lantronix agreed to purchase Minnesota-based Communications Systems’ Transition Networks and Net2Edge businesses (TN Companies) for an initial US$25 million plus an earnout of up to US$7 million. O’Melveny & Myers LLP advised Lantronix on the TN Companies transaction.
