Mergermarket: Sierra Wireless to be acquired by Semtech at USD 1.2bn EV

Semtech Corp., a California-based semiconductor maker, announced a definitive agreement to acquire Sierra Wireless in all-cash transaction for approximately US$1.2 billion. The transaction was announced on August 2 and is subject to customary closing conditions. O’Melveny & Myers LLP serves as legal advisor to Semtech.
