O’Melveny & Myers LLP advised Forge Energy II Delaware, LLC, an EnCap portfolio company, on the sale of Permian Basin assets to Vital Energy, Inc., an independent energy company, in partnership with an unnamed third party for US$540 million. The all-cash transaction was announced on May 12 and is expected to close in late second-quarter 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
