NAPABA: O’Melveny Counsel Hana Oh Selected to Participate in NAPABA’s 2022 Leadership Advancement Program

August 22, 2022

O’Melveny counsel Hana Oh has been selected to participate in the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) 2022 Leadership Advancement Program, a year-long experiential program designed to empower future leaders in the Asian Pacific American legal community by building the skills they need to step into their own leadership style.

Oh will be joining a select group of in-house counsel and law firm attorneys who have been recognized for their leadership potential within their organizations. The program will include the opportunity to foster genuine relationships with peers within the profession, particularly between law firm attorneys and in-house counsel.

Oh is an MIT-trained attorney in O’Melveny’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice group. She focuses on patent and trade secret litigation and licensing issues for innovative companies, including Samsung, Google, Micron, Alcon, and Novartis. With both a J.D. from UCLA and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Oh helps clients navigate complex technical and legal issues arising in intellectual property disputes.

Oh is also a leader contributing to the broader community. In addition to her NAPABA fellowship, she has been serving on the board of the Orange County Korean-American Bar Association (OCKABA) and the Markey Intellectual Property Inn of Court, and advocating for domestic violence victims in her pro bono practice.
