New York Business Journal: O’Melveny’s Newest Partner is Fluent in Oral Arguments and Organic Chemistry

Life sciences litigator Gregory Morris has joined O’Melveny & Myers LLP as a partner in New York in its intellectual property and technology practice group. “It’s exciting to join a firm that aligns with values that I hold dear, such as cordiality and respect for our colleagues and our clients,” Morris said. “It’s also a welcome return to New York where I practiced for years and graduated from law school.” Morris graduated from Fordham Law School and holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Northwestern University. “Having a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and scientific research experience allows me to have a greater understanding of the scientific discoveries of my clients and how to best serve their interests,” Morris said. O’Melveny partner Ryan Yagura said, “We’re really pleased to have Greg joining our firm ...
