New York Law Journal: Rising Star: Joe Zujkowski

The New York Law Journal has named O’Melveny partner Joe Zujkowski a “Rising Star” for his work in high profile restructuring matters. This annual award recognizes the region’s most promising lawyers 40 and younger. The publication noted that Zujkowski has extensive restructuring experience across a number of industries, is an adjunct professor at Cardozo School of Law, and regularly authors pieces on restructuring topics. Zujkowski has served as lead counsel on pro bono immigration matters and is an active member of the Catholic Renewal organization. “The people you work with are as important, if not more important, than the type of law you practice,” Zujkowski said of the advice he would give to young lawyers. “I’ve been lucky enough to find a group of people that has become a second family to me, and I believe that a lot of people who have successful and long-term careers in law have found something similar.”
