O’Melveny Data Security and Privacy Group co-chair Lisa Monaco has been nominated as Deputy Attorney General by President-elect Joe Biden. Monaco served as Obama’s homeland security adviser and has been actively involved in Biden’s transition, the publication noted.
POLITICO also recognized O’Melveny alumni Ron Klain, who will serve as Biden’s White House Chief of Staff, and Alejandro Mayorkas, who has been nominated for Homeland Security Secretary.
