Reuters Legal: O’Melveny launches in Dallas with Norton Rose restructuring head

After first entering Texas by way of Austin, O’Melveny is launching its second office in the Lone Star state with four partners from Norton Rose Fulbright, this article reported.
Restructuring partners Louis Strubeck and Gregory Wilkes will be joined by bankruptcy litigation partner Scott Drake and product liability partner Douglas Wabner in Dallas.
Firm chair Brad Butwin anticipates additional growth in Texas through lateral hires, Reuters wrote. “We’ve gotten just a tremendous amount of outreach and we have been talking to other people - some high profile people, some of whom have been at their firms for a long time,” Butwin commented.
