Reuters: O’Melveny Bolsters New Dallas Office with Baker Botts Litigator

“O’Melveny & Myers LLP has hired litigator Kristin Cope as a partner in its Dallas office. According to O’Melveny partner Tim Durst, who recently joined the firm, the Dallas office now has 12 attorneys. The firm opened offices in both Dallas and Austin this past summer and Durst noted O’Melveny’s desire to boost its transaction M&A, IP, and litigation practices in the coming months. “I’ve got a lot of experience in trade secrets, trademark technology issues, and that's certainly something that O’Melveny is great at and there’s a lot of opportunity here,” Cope said.
