O’Melveny & Myers LLP advised multi-faceted esports and gaming company ReKTGlobal, Inc. in its definitive merger agreement with metaverse company Infinite Reality, Inc. ReKTGlobal will be acquired by Infinite Reality in a US$470 million all-stock deal, based on an equity valuation for Infinite Reality of US$2 billion. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including ReKTGlobal shareholder approval, as well as regulatory and other approvals. ReKTGlobal’s services include content creation, paid media, marketing, influencer activation, and fan relationship-building and monetization.
