Sports Illustrated: Report: Amid Blazers Probe, NBA GMs Forming Association To Support Execs

NBA general managers are working to finalize a professional association that would support league executives. Initial steps took place in March, but the Portland Trail Blazers’ recent internal investigation into workplace misconduct claims against its president of basketball operations and general manager, Neil Olshey, has “further convinced team executives of the need for the group.” The Blazers hired O’Melveny & Myers LLP to conduct a “fair and independent review” of the alleged workplace environment concerns.
