Sports Illustrated: The End of the Neil Olshey Era Leaves the Trail Blazers in a State of Disarray

President of basketball operations and general manager for the Portland Trail Blazers Neil Olshey has been let go by the team after an internal investigation found evidence of a toxic work environment. The law firm that conducted the investigation, O’Melveny interviewed current and former employees over the past several weeks. The publication noted that Olshey “could be verbally abusive, sometimes publicly, creating what at times was a palpable tension inside the Blazers practice facility.”
