Ron Klain, the former chief of staff to President Joe Biden, has re-joined O’Melveny & Myers LLP as a partner and will lead the firm’s Strategic Counseling and Crisis Management Practice. Klain, who will also sit on O’Melveny’s Executive Committee, was previously a partner at the firm from 1999 to 2004. “[Ron has served as] a trusted counsel and confidante to three presidents, a vice president and a US attorney general. He returns to the firm with a truly unmatched level of crisis management, policy and legal experience,” O’Melveny chair Brad Butwin said. “I’m proud that I’ve devoted half of my career to public service,” Klain said.
