The Deal: Movers & Shakers: O’Melveny Lures Three From Willkie in Houston

O’Melveny has announced the opening of a new office in Houston with three former Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP attorneys—Angela Olivarez, Steven V. Torello, and Ryan Cicero—and current O’Melveny partner Monica Hwang. Last year, Olivarez advised Redwire Corp. (RDW) on its merger with Genesis Park Acquisition Corp. and HungerRush on its acquisitions of 9Fold and Menufy.com LLC. Torello advised Bruin E&P HoldCo LLC on its US$465 million sale to Enerplus Corp. and Juniper Capital Advisors LP on a US$188 million investment in Penn Virginia Corp. Cicero represented TradePending LLC on its purchase of Auto APR LLC in March and worked with Torello on Penn Virginia’s investment.
