O’Melveny Emerging Technologies Practice chair and Northern California corporate head David Makarechian sat down with The Deal’s David Marcus to discuss the heavy deal flow in Silicon Valley over the last 12-18 months, how this period is reminiscent of the investment climate of the late 1990s, and his penchant for Singaporean street food, which he acquired over his five years heading O’Melveny’s Southeast Asia practice.
