Houston corporate lawyer Angela Olivarez advised The CapStreet Group in the sale of its majority stake of HungerRush to private equity firm Corsair in the midst of her departure from Wilkie to O’Melveny & Myers LLP. “Now that this deal is closed, I can take a little bit of a breather for the first time in about three years,” Olivarez said. She noted that getting used to the technology and learning how to make use the firm’s resources were some of the biggest obstacles she faced. “I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was happy and thankful that my team worked together on the best of terms through my transition and all the way to closing,” Olivarez said. “I was also fortunate that O’Melveny anticipated any critical needs and truly put the resources of the firm at my disposal to enable me to hit the ground running.”
