The Texas Lawbook: Four NRF Partners Open O’Melveny’s Office in Dallas

The Texas Lawbook covered the launch of O’Melveny’s newest office in Dallas, including the former head of Norton Rose Fulbright’s global bankruptcy practice, Lou Strubeck.
According to the publication, “Strubeck has represented some of the largest energy companies and financial institutions in the U.S.” In an interview, Strubeck said his move to O’Melveny was “a fast-moving courtship” and presented “a really great opportunity for me at this point in my career.”
Strubeck is joined in Dallas by three of his “best friends”: partners Scott Drake, H. Douglas Wabner, and Greg Wilkes.
“Today we’re reaffirming what we said last month: O’Melveny is committed to expanding our platform in Texas to better serve our clients’ needs,” firm chair Brad Butwin commented. “We’re delighted to launch in Dallas with four top-notch partners whose practices build on several of our existing practice and industry strengths.”
