The Boy Scouts of America’s liability insurers challenged the validity of the sharp rise in claims filed after it filed for bankruptcy, this article reported. In recent court filings, the insurers detailed instances of plaintiffs’ attorneys and for-profit claims generators rushing through claims with little or no vetting.
