USA Today: Who is Justice Leondra Kruger? For Starters, She’s Argued a Dozen Supreme Court CasesFebruary 04, 2022
California Supreme Court Justice Leondra Kruger is among the top candidates President Biden is considering for the nation’s high court. Kruger served in the US Department of Justice during both the Bush and Obama administrations and was recruited by the Biden administration to be solicitor general. Dellinger said he had no idea if Kruger agreed with the administration’s policy after the Court unanimously ruled against the teacher. “That was not her job,” Dellinger added. “The relevant government agencies had a position and she argued it and argued it well.”
