O’Melveny Represents Bio-heart in Its Hong Kong IPO

HONG KONG—DECEMBER 23, 2021—O’Melveny recently represented Shanghai Bio-heart Biological Technology Co., Ltd. (2185.HK) in its initial public offering and listing of shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. O’Melveny advised Bio-heart on both Hong Kong and U.S. laws Reflecting the firm's leading position in the life sciences field, this listing marks the tenth Chapter 18A Hong Kong IPO handled by O'Melveny, including nine where we represented the issuers and drafted the prospectuses.
Bio-heart is a leading innovative interventional cardiovascular medical device company in China. It focuses on bioresorbable scaffold (BRS) therapies addressing coronary and peripheral artery diseases, as well as renal denervation (RDN) therapies for uncontrolled hypertension and resistant hypertension. With the mission of “turning innovation into quality care,” Bio-heart has been dedicated to developing innovative medical devices to address the unmet medical needs of vascular disease and hypertension patients in China.
