Lichtenbaum Recognized as One of DC’s “25 Most Respected Sanctions Lawyers”

WASHINGTON, DC—November 5, 2019—Global Investigations Review (GIR) has identified partner Greta Lichtenbaum as one of the “25 most respected sanctions lawyers” practicing in the DC area.
In presenting its list, the publication reported that it “spent several months surveying dozens of practitioners, asking them which individual lawyers they would trust to represent them in a hypothetical sanctions case and why.” GIR also reviewed “publicly available information” to identify the lawyers behind some of the most significant sanctions cases.
Lichtenbaum’s award profile noted that she “holds an enviable reputation among the Washington, DC sanctions bar.” During her 15 years at O’Melveny, Lichtenbaum has represented an oilfield services company and engineering companies in several sanctions-related matters, GIR reported, while specializing in counseling companies on the FCPA and US export laws.
