O’Melveny Names Nima Amini Managing Partner in Hong Kong

NEW YORK AND HONG KONG—February 1, 2021—O’Melveny announced today that experienced corporate dealmaker Nima Amini has been named Managing Partner of its Hong Kong office effective today. Amini, who has served in O’Melveny’s Hong Kong office for the past 14 years, will oversee the office’s operations, business development efforts, attorney recruitment, talent development and retention, and real estate.
A partner in O’Melveny’s Corporate Department and a member of the M&A and Private Equity Groups, Amini has extensive experience representing strategic and private equity clients through complex, multi-jurisdictional public and private M&A transactions, many of which have been named “Deal of the Year” by leading industry publications. Amini was honored with the Individual Award for “Young Lawyer of the Year” in 2016 at the Macallan ALB Hong Kong Law Awards and has been consistently recognized as a top-tier dealmaker by independent legal directories such as Chambers Global and Asia-Pacific.
