O’Melveny Advises Fabcon Precast in Acquisition of Kerkstra Precast

O’Melveny advised Fabcon Precast, a leading provider of structural precast wall panels, in the acquisition of Kerkstra Precast.

The transaction was announced and closed on April 1.

Kerkstra is the leading producer of high-quality precast and prestressed concrete products in Michigan.

FURTHER EXPANDS ITS GEOGRAPHIC FOOTPRINT AND PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

Minneapolis, Minnesota. April 1, 2021 — Minneapolis-based Fabcon Precast, a leading provider of structural precast wall panels, announced today that, effective March 31st, it has acquired Kerkstra Precast, a Michigan corporation.

Kerkstra, established in 1962, is the leading producer of high-quality precast and prestressed concrete products in Michigan. From its two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Grand Rapids and Detroit, Kerkstra serves the industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure markets across the Midwest. Its comprehensive product offering includes structural and architectural wall panels, hollowcore planks, beams, columns, double tees, stairs, and other specialty products.
