The pair, who have worked together since the late 1990s, were previously partners at an AmLaw Top 10 firm where Hamilton served as Co-Chair of the California Real Estate practice.

Hamilton represents corporate and institutional owners of large property portfolios, including public and private real estate investment trusts (REITs). Butwin. “It is great to be able to welcome them back to the firm as we deepen our bench of real estate attorneys. They also strengthen our practice serving REITs, where we handle corporate, securities, M&A, and capital-raising transactions.”

With the arrival of Hamilton and Evans, seven lateral partners have joined O’Melveny’s Corporate Department in the past six months, including Todd Boes, Terrence Dugan, Christopher Owens, Jason Kaplan, and Jeff Norton.

“It’s gratifying to know that O’Melveny remains a prime destination for top talent even during this challenging period,” said C. Brophy Christensen, Co-Chair of the firm’s Corporate Department. “We will continue to execute on our strategy of pursuing high-caliber lawyers around the world who advance our vision for a strong, cohesive corporate platform able to serve our broad client base.”
