O’Melveny Certified by Women in Law Empowerment Forum for Fourth Year in a Row

NEW YORK—June 24, 2020—For the fourth year in a row, O’Melveny has achieved a Gold Standard Certification by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF), once again affirming O’Melveny’s commitment to advancing women lawyers.

WILEF is dedicated to supporting women at the nation’s largest law firms and corporate law departments. The organization’s Gold Standard Certification program recognizes firms where leadership roles, compensation, and partnership meet a number of specific benchmarks.

WILEF certified O’Melveny among the nation’s top Gold Standard law firms based on O’Melveny achieving the following criteria:

• 20% of equity partners or, alternatively, 33% of the attorneys becoming equity partners during the past twelve months are women;
• 15% of firm and U.S. branch office heads are women;
• 20% of the firm’s primary governance committee are women;
• 20% of the firm’s compensation committee or its equivalent are women;
• 10% of women equity partners are women of color or 4% of women equity partners are LGBT.
