O’Melveny in Top Echelon on Law360 Pulse Leaderboard

NEW YORK—January 25, 2022—O’Melveny is sixth among 100 law firms in the Law360 Pulse Leaderboard, a new ranking of law firms that “stand out for being well-rounded, excelling in culture, reputation and business practice.”

The Leaderboard, which evaluates firms according to three “pillars”—prestige, social impact, and practice footprint—is meant to reflect “the relative performance of law firms against their peers.” Each category is given an overall score that reflects multiple sub-scores.

Law360 Pulse’s “Prestige Leader” rankings measure a firm’s financial health, desirability, number of Law360 editorial awards, and news representation. The “Social Impact Leader” rankings evaluate a firm’s racial and ethnic diversity, gender equality, employee engagement, and pro bono service. And the "Practice Footprint” is determined using data from Lex Machina and Intelligize that calculate depth, breadth, and geographic reach of a firm’s litigation, along with the values of its completed public deals and offerings.

Among firms with more than 600 attorneys, O’Melveny was #10 in prestige, #6 in social impact, and #51 in practice footprint. O’Melveny also ranked #4 among large firms in pro bono service.
