O’Melveny Represents Underwriters in Hong Kong IPO of Shanghai HeartCare Medical Technology Corporation Limited

HONG KONG—AUGUST 20, 2021—O’Melveny recently represented Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C. and China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited and other underwriters in the HK$1.13 billion (approximately US$145 million) initial public offering and listing of shares by Shanghai HeartCare Medical Technology Corporation Limited (6609.HK) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Assuming full exercise of the over-allotment option, the offering size will be HK$1.30 billion (approximately US$167 million).
Founded in 2016, Shanghai HeartCare is an innovative neuro-interventional medical device company with an established leadership position in the neuro-intervention market in China by virtue of its broad portfolio of commercialized products and product candidates, which include neuro-interventional and cardiac medical devices.
