O’Melveny Joins Bank of America, Colgate-Palmolive, Fannie Mae, Paramount, TransUnion, and HIAS to Help Immigrants

O’Melveny collaborated with corporate clients, including Bank of America, Colgate-Palmolive, Fannie Mae, Paramount, TransUnion, and HIAS to aid more than 30 immigrants in completing critical paperwork.

The federal government issues Temporary Protected Status to eligible nationals of designated countries who are in the United States when conditions in those countries prevent them from returning safely or where the country is unable to handle adequately the return of its nationals. TPS is extremely meaningful, as holders of this status can live and, in some cases, work in the US for a limited period of time without fear of deportation to a country that may not be safe for them.
