Adam Ackerman advises clients on a range of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and investments, corporate governance matters and corporate finance. He has represented private equity funds and privately-held and publicly-traded companies across a broad range of industries including the manufacturing, technology, medical devices, agriculture, energy and infrastructure, real estate, life sciences, hospitality and financial services sectors. He has also represented borrowers, private equity sponsors, agents and institutional lenders in secured and unsecured senior and mezzanine debt financings, acquisition financings, asset-based financings, bridge financings and restructuring transactions.

  • Represented Microsemi in several transactions, including its $130 million acquisition of Vectron’s high performance timing business and its $10 billion sale to Microchip.
  • Represented RSI Home Products in its $1 billion sale to American Woodmark and RSI Communities in its $460 million sale to William Lyon Homes.
  • Represented the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board in connection with portfolio company investment and disposition transactions, including the acquisition of Broetje Apple Orchards.
  • Represented the Madison Square Garden Company in connection with its $400 million sale of the LA Forum.
  • Represented Mitsui in connection with its acquisition of satellite rideshare service provider Spaceflight, Inc.
  • Represented Allomer Capital Group in connection with multiple portfolio company investment and disposition transactions.
  • Represented Renewable Resources Group in portfolio company transactions, including water law transactions.
  • Represented OMERS Infrastructure in its sale of the Airports Worldwide portfolio of airport assets and management contracts to Vinci Airports.
  • Represented First State Investments in its investment in a bioenergy facility.
  • Represented Seidler Equity Partners in connection with portfolio company investment and disposition transactions.
  • Represented Five Crowns Capital in its acquisition of a global audio and visual communication technologies provider.
  • Represented Transom Capital Group in connection with multiple portfolio company investment and disposition transactions.
  • Represented a biological sampling company in several cross-border strategic acquisitions.
  • Represented UBS AG in connection with first and second lien term loan facilities for an oil and gas company.
  • Represented the acquirer in a leveraged management buyout of an equipment maintenance and repair services company.
