Andrew Weisberg is a counsel in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office who specializes in real estate litigation and consumer class actions. For four years (2023-2026), he has been recognized as one of Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch in America” for his work in real estate litigation.

Andrew has also handled a wide range of consumer class action matters, including defending against claims regarding the supposed presence of PFAS and other substances in consumer products. In February 2026, Andrew, along with a team of O’Melveny attorneys, was named a “Legal Lion of the Week” by Law360 after successfully persuading a New Jersey federal judge to dismiss claims by a proposed class of consumers alleging that O’Melveny’s clients had concealed the presence of PFAS chemicals in certain products, finding that the consumers had not shown they were harmed.

Andrew also maintains an active pro bono practice. Since joining O’Melveny, Andrew has successfully defended low-income tenants from eviction and extracted a favorable settlement from an “immigration consultant” who defrauded two recent immigrants to the United States.

Real Estate

  • Obtained arbitration victory involving dispute over management of large residential real estate construction project, resulting in full reinstatement of client’s profit participation interest and award of attorneys’ fees
  • Obtained summary judgment for commercial landlord in unlawful detainer action, evicting tenant notwithstanding COVID-19 protections and receiving award of over US$500,000 in back rent and attorneys’ fees
  • Obtained arbitration victory for commercial tenant in dispute over application of modified gross lease, resulting in tenant receiving reimbursement of over US$1 million in improper charges and award of attorneys’ fees
  • Defended tenant manufacturer in leasehold dispute over building modifications and tenant improvements, leading to settlement more than 90% below landlord’s initial demand

Class Actions

  • Obtained dismissal without leave to amend regarding putative class action alleging design defects in major auto manufacturer’s electronic keyless ignition system
  • Obtained summary judgment dismissing certified class claims against nationwide consumer product manufacturer
  • Defended nutraceutical manufacturer against nationwide class action alleging labeling misrepresentations, leading to settlement agreement on favorable terms
  • Defended logistics solutions company against class action regarding purported employee misclassifications, leading to settlement agreement on favorable terms
