Anne (“Annie”) is an experienced advisor for healthcare clients on high stakes litigation, investigations, and compliance matters. She has significant experience defending clients in False Claims Act litigation and investigations brought by the US Department of Justice and qui tam relators. Annie helps her clients navigate matters involving state and federal false claims laws, anti-kickback laws, Stark laws, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement laws, state and federal privacy laws, Affordable Care Act, and laws regulating managed care organizations. Further, Annie has significant depth of experience in counseling on Medicare Advantage, risk adjustment, pharmacy benefits, and other issues affecting managed care organizations. 

Drawing on her regulatory and litigation background, she helps clients navigate government scrutiny and manage compliance and litigation risk. Annie has experience in all phases and stages of litigation, internal reviews, and government investigations. Additionally, Annie provides regulatory advice in connection with transactional matters.  

Annie is a frequent speaker regarding False Claims Act enforcement in health care. Annie also maintains a robust pro bono practice focused on adoption and veterans.
