Bianca Poindexter Page
Sr. Manager of Associate and Counsel Staffing
As O’Melveny’s Associate and Counsel Staffing Manager, Bianca Poindexter Page leverages her experience as a former litigator and e-discovery attorney to assemble the teams of attorneys that support O’Melveny clients.
Bianca works with the firm’s Director of Associate and Counsel Staff and the work-advising leadership teams in all U.S. offices to ensure not only that matters are appropriately staffed but also that associates and counsel have opportunities to participate in variety of challenging matters. For the past year, Bianca has coordinated attorney staffing needs in the landmark litigation against client Johnson & Johnson, a matter that encompasses more than 2,000 individual cases and that has involved more than 100 O’Melveny attorneys.
Bianca has been honored within and outside of the firm for her dedication to diversity and pro bono initiatives. The Los Angeles County Bar Association recognized Bianca’s work with its AIDS Legal Services Project, naming her the 2014 recipient of the Honorable Benjamin Aranda III Outstanding Public Service Award. O’Melveny awarded Bianca its highest honor, the Warren Christopher Values Award, in 2016. Bianca serves as co-chair of the firm’s African American Professionals employee network, which serves attorneys and staff in O’Melveny’s Century City and Downtown Los Angeles offices.
Bianca previously practiced as an e-discovery staff attorney at O’Melveny. In that role, she managed fact discovery in a wide range of internal investigations and complex civil litigation matters, often involving millions of documents. She also developed case strategy and coordinated with e-discovery vendors. She remains proficient in an array of e-discovery data-management tools and platforms. Before joining O’Melveny, Bianca was a litigation associate at another Los Angeles regional litigation firm practicing wrongful death, toxic torts and bad faith litigation, with an emphasis in insurance coverage with exposure over US $1 million.
