Katie Sinclair is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office. She has extensive experience navigating complex and novel legal disputes and successfully representing clients in high-stakes matters involving consumer fraud, products liability, and mass torts.

Recognized for her strong case management skills, Katie guides clients from the inception of a lawsuit through resolution, often tackling cutting-edge legal issues along the way. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, advocating for the protection of citizens’ constitutional rights.

Katie has authored several articles, with publications in Ecology Law Quarterly and the Berkeley Journal of International Law. During law school, Katie served as a mentor and advisor to her peers, working as a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing, Written and Oral Advocacy, and the Environmental Law Writing Seminar.

  • Defended an auto manufacturer in multiple class-action lawsuits involving hundreds of thousands or millions of potential class members
  • Represented a pharmaceutical company in multidistrict litigation and coordinated state actions regarding the marketing of prescription opioid medication
  • Coordinated the statutory notice of tens of thousands of landowners for one of the largest groundwater adjudications in the State
