Christopher A. Owens guides clients through secured and unsecured financing transactions and creditor’s rights cases. Chris represents lenders and borrowers in a variety of industries. Chris has particular expertise in motion picture and television financings, as well as healthcare related financings. Chris is also experienced in general corporate loans, venture capital and ABL financings in a wide range of industries, with extensive experience in intercreditor negotiations, workouts and restructurings in a variety of industries. Chris frequently represents agents in syndicated credit facilities.

Chris represents institutional banks, sponsors, venture capital funds, institutional investors, and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions, including both lenders and sponsors in leveraged acquisitions. With experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, Chris teams with prepetition lenders, trade creditors, and other providers of debtor-in-possession financings in major Chapter 11 proceedings.
