Christopher Phillips is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s San Francisco office. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling, including trade secret, copyright, patent, and unfair competition. He also has experience in complex commercial litigation and antitrust litigation. He has experience litigating in federal and states court across the country and has drafted outcome-determinative motions on behalf of his clients. His clients are a who’s who of household names that includes some of the biggest technology companies in the world. 

Christopher also maintains an active pro bono practice, which focuses on federal and state court appeals. He has drafted multiple amicus briefs filed with the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as multiple briefs in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

  • Represented a major technology company in multiple matters, including trade secret litigation against a former employee and other pre-litigation disputes.
  • Representing a leading medical device company in trade secret litigation against several former employees and their new employer.
  • Representing a major financial services company in a consumer class action.
  • Representing a former CEO in a DOJ criminal price-fixing trial, resulting in a not-guilty verdict.
  • Representing a leading technology company in numerous matters in state and federal courts across the country, including drafting successful motions to dismiss, demurrers, motions to compel arbitration, and anti-SLAPP motions.
