EJ Benjamin is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s San Francisco office. EJ contributes to a variety of litigation, regulatory, and advisory matters through their practice, including advising on regulatory compliance for state environmental laws and consumer products regulations. They also have experience in complex insurance litigation and trademark enforcement. They have contributed to multiple trial teams, including for the largest worker misclassification matter brought by the US Department of Labor, helping to achieve a highly beneficial settlement before the start of trial.
EJ is also actively involved in pro bono efforts on behalf of National Homelessness Law Center, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance.
At O’Melveny, EJ is co-chair of the SF/SV LGBTQ+ Employee Network.
