  • Defending a publishing company in an antitrust suit filed by the US Department of Justice to block a proposed acquisition of another publishing company.
  • Defended a global footwear company in securities class action suits and related appeals. 
  • Defended a major consumer products company against a putative national false advertising class action involving buttery spreads.
  • Represented a global financial institution in a contract dispute with a former employee.  
  • Defended a national Medicare Advantage organization in a federal False Claims Act litigation. 
  • Represented underwriting syndicates in state and federal securities class actions alleging misstatements in public offering materials.
  • Represented a major medical device company in litigation brought by the California Attorney General regarding alleged violations of consumer protection laws.

  • Represented a large public university research foundation in an internal investigation involving anonymous allegations of misconduct, including that individuals at the university engaged in harassment and retaliation. 
  • Represented a global financial institution in an internal investigation related to the disposal of technology assets. 
  • Represented global telecommunications company in connection with federal grand jury subpoenas related to allegations of abuse. 
  • Represented global financial institution in connection with federal grand jury subpoenas concerning data security. 
  • Represented a national Medicare Advantage organization in a regulatory investigation concerning the False Claims Act. 
  • Represented a trading company in an internal investigation related to accounting practices.

Pro Bono

  • Defended client pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act.
  • Filed a lawsuit and reached a settlement on behalf of the estate of a person who committed suicide while incarcerated.
