Emily Smid is a corporate associate in O’Melveny’s Dallas office.

Emily earned a JD/MBA dual degree from the University of Michigan. During law school, Emily was a student attorney at the Zell Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she counseled early-stage entrepreneurs on various legal matters, as well as the Michigan Law NIL Clinic, where she represented student athletes in negotiating contracts and navigating the complex NIL regulatory landscape. Prior to graduate school, Emily gained valuable experience as an investment banking analyst.
