Katie is a counsel in O’Melveny’s San Francisco office. Katie focuses her practice on technology-related matters, with particular expertise in trade secret, trademark, copyright matters at all phases of litigation from pre-trial investigation through trial. She has also counseled clients on employment, data security, contract, product liability, and false advertising issues. Her clients include leaders in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical technology, automotive, entertainment, and real estate spaces. Katie focuses on providing efficient, business-minded advice and creative problem-solving for her clients. 

Katie has dedicated significant time to pro bono work focused on criminal defense, immigration, and animal rights matters. She spent one year as a fellow in the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, including taking a felony case to trial and obtaining a hung jury verdict that resulted in dismissal of all charges.
