Max J. Rosenthal is a versatile litigator who works on complex cases across a wide range of practice areas. His experience includes defending a major tech company against consumer-protection actions in numerous state courts, helping universities respond to federal government investigations and administrative actions, and representing insurers in multimillion-dollar coverage disputes.

Max is also actively engaged in pro bono efforts at O’Melveny, working frequently with the National Veterans Legal Service Program. He has also represented an immigration detainee during bond proceedings.

Before attending law school, Max worked as a journalist both in the United States and as a foreign correspondent. He covered the Middle East, foreign policy, defense and intelligence, and politics for numerous media outlets, most recently at the Washington Post. From 2006 to 2011, Max served in the U.S. Army as an Arabic linguist and intelligence analyst.
