  • First-chaired jury trial in Title VII pattern-or-practice race discrimination case brought by the United States against the City of New York, and obtained monetary settlement mid-trial on behalf of victims, as well as injunctive relief.
  • First-chaired bench trial on behalf of federal agency following summary judgment dismissal of claims against eight individual defendants.
  • Managed docket of over 35 active affirmative and defensive matters on behalf of the United States of America’s Executive Branch agencies, including civil rights, employment, fraud, environmental, administrative, constitutional, tort, tax, and bankruptcy matters. 
  • Investigated and litigated harassment and retaliation claims arising out of federal employment statutes.
  • Investigated civil rights matters under Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, and Fair Housing Act and civil fraud matters under False Claims Act.
  • Defended programmatic, regulatory, and constitutional challenges to agency policies and rules. 
  • Defended the Department of Labor’s joint-employer rule in litigation brought by 17 states challenging the agency’s rulemaking under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
