  • Defended Google Inc. in around half a dozen patent matters in district court, the ITC, and before the PTAB, many of which were filed in Texas but ultimately transferred and all of which settled on favorable terms to the client (W.D. Tex., E.D. Tex., N.D. Cal., S.D. Cal., USPTO, ITC).
  • Defended Samsung in related ITC and district court actions involving two patents about OLED display technologies. Litigated the ITC matter through an evidentiary hearing before resolving favorably on the eve of the initial determination and the district court matters similarly resolved favorably on the eve of trial (E.D. Tex., S.D.N.Y., ITC).
  • Defended AMD in district court actions involving microprocessor and graphics process technology (W.D. Tex.).
  • Represented Hulu in a Federal Circuit appeal that led to the court affirming dismissal on both non-infringement and invalidity grounds for the patents involving technology for delivering multimedia content using a network of distributed servers (Fed. Cir.).
  • Represented the Amidi Group and its principals in California state court litigation involving allegations of financial abuse, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and breach of contract and claims of $500 million+ in damages, relating to plaintiff’s sale of her interest in four businesses to defendants.
  • Represented a veteran in a hearing before the Naval Discharge Review Board that led to his discharge status being upgraded.
