O’Melveny Worldwide

Nolan Shaw is a corporate transactional counsel in O’Melveny’s Hong Kong office. His practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, joint ventures, foreign direct investment, and general corporate matters involving a variety of industry sectors, including tech, automotive, life sciences, entertainment, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, and others.  His clients include public and private companies, VC/PE investors, multinational corporations and sovereign wealth funds.  He has significant experience with transactions involving targets and clients in the US, China, and SE Asia, among others, and has been based in Hong Kong, as a Registered Foreign Lawyer (admitted in California), since 2018.

Nolan previously served as seconded legal counsel to the Real Estate strategy of Pacific Alliance Group (PAG) for six months in late 2017 and early 2018, where he covered acquisitions by PAG in China, South Korea, and New Zealand, including PAG’s acquisition of a majority stake in China Merchants buildings located in Beijing and Shanghai.
