O’Melveny Worldwide

Pamela Miller is the Co-Chair of O’Melveny’s award-winning Litigation Department, and a member of both the firm’s Management Team and the Executive Committee. In her nearly three decades of practice, she has established herself as a skilled trial lawyer, representing clients before judges, juries, appellate panels, bankruptcy courts, and arbitrators in an array of complex disputes. As the former Co-Chair of O’Melveny’s Financial Services Practice Group, Pam has a deep understanding of the financial services industry’s needs, and she uses her knowledge to guide banks and financial institutions through high-exposure litigation involving bank liability, fraud, bankruptcy, regulatory improprieties, and securities matters. She has also conducted internal investigations involving anti-money laundering compliance, securities fraud, internal and corporate fraud, accounting fraud, and market manipulation.

Lawdragon consistently names Pam one of the “500 Leading Litigators in America.” She has been recognized by the Legal 500 US for her distinguished career in financial services litigation and by BTI as a Client Service All-Star. In Crain’s New York Business’s inaugural list of Leading Women Lawyers in New York City, Pam was honored as one of the “New York Bar’s most talented lawyers”—“trailblazers who found multiple paths to excellence.”

Pam’s clients, whether banks, creditors, insurers, medical device manufacturers, or technology companies, benefit from her wealth of experience in both state and federal court, as well as before major government agencies including the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and state Attorney General offices.

Pam uses her position to advocate for a more inclusive legal profession. She has collaborated with several clients to design and implement programs to enhance the diversity of client teams, and she regularly discusses initiatives for expanding professional opportunities for attorneys of all backgrounds at client and industry events. She is a member of O’Melveny’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and a former member of the New York City Bar Association’s Committee on Women in the Profession.
